Amend main product image in SPECS/INVOICES

It would be very useful to be able to amend the image when doing INVOICES/PO/SPECS.
Let's say I have a product that I imported from clipboard in a certain colour. I usually add additional images with the different colour options available from the vendor that I can use in my moodboard in case client prefers one of the secondary options.
However, If I want to use this new image with the secondary colour in a spec sheet/PO/INVOICE it is a real pain as in the spec sheet/PO/INVOICE I cannot change the main product image. Hope it makes sense!
